My eBay Fingernails

Posted by CarolBEE on Jun-19-2008

Well, I am in Chicago right now attending the eBay Live Conference.

The eBay Live Conference is a great resource to learn marketing, product sourcing and listing tips.  This is the 4th conference I have attended and I learn something new every year.

To celebrate the occasion, I made a deal with Jennifer at Cooper Island (Show Low, AZ).  Jennifer did an awesome job??  What do you think?

I have a BIG Decision to Make and Need to do it Soon

Posted by CarolBEE on Jun-11-2008

I have been very busy lately; starting a new summer schedule of 4/10 hour days, working on a blog contest for my two other sites, and getting ready to go to Chicago to attend the eBay Live Conference.

We will be flying to Chicago on Monday (a couple of days early so we can get use to the time difference and see the sites before the conference begins).  So I now have a BIG decision to make before Friday morning.  What should I do with my hair??

Right now, it is shoulder length and stringy.  I wake up at 4:45 am, shower, then run out the door to work with it bound to the back of my head with a ponytail holder.  Very low maintenance!  :D

But now that I am going to eBay Live, I have to look GOOD!

Since I am partical to the bob, this is what I was thinking:

1. Trim the hair to chin length with really long layers at the ends.

New Hair Style

2.  Trim to chin length with short layers throughout to add body to the style.

New Hair Style

3.  Trim my long bangs and go back to the short ones??

New Hair Style

4.  Go with a shorter bob (so there is no way I can put it up in a ponytail) with short layers throughout.

New Hair Style

5.  Go with a short bob with the hair all one length.

New Hair Style

6.  Or finally, go with a low maintenance, attention getting, cowardly lion look.  I’m sure I will turn some heads with this one!!

New Hair Style

Decisions, Decisions! What should I do?

Take a look at your problems in a different way

Posted by CarolBEE on May-7-2008

When I am presented with a problem in life, I try to look at it as an opportunity to grow.  I know many people (I use to be one of them) that stop thinking when they are present with a difficult situation.  I have discovered that you have to look at the problem in a different way.

If you see it as a opportunity to grow and learn, you will be able to find several different ways to solve the problem.  You just have to stand back, analize it, come up with several different solutions.  Then you pick a solution and make it happen.  You will find that life is not as stressful if you just work on solving the problem before it overwhelms you.

Below is a silly sample of looking at something in a different way.  It is amazing how something can look so different if you try to approach it with a different view.

View #2 - Looking at it in a different way.  The problem is not as threatening.
